This machine is designed to work in conjunction with single head cross groovers, combination v-groovers with a crosscut station or along with CNC routers.
Cross taping capacity is limited while the length capacity is unlimited. The (5) flip stops simplify the application of several tapes for multiple crosscuts on one part.
The flip stops can also be set for recurring tape locations on various parts.
The machine will be a great time saver over manual tape application, yield better accuracy and applies the tape flat under pressure for optimal adherence. Through the automatic tape cut feature and faster application speed it is an essential piece for any crosscut v-groover, when working with veneered, solid surface, laminated or any other non-flexible surface covering.
? Working Method: Operator aligns the board to be taped via one of the (5) flip stops and mechanical read-out scale against the back fence. Pressing the foot pedal activates the pneumatic hold down as well as the automatic taping machine. At the end of the board, the taping machine automatically cuts the tape off and returns to its starting position for a new cycle.
Free-standing unit with material table, 60? (1,600 mm)maximum board width, 4" minimum board width, 12" minimum board length with unlimited length capacity, 1-1/4" maximum board thickness
Maximum tape width 4", max. tape diameter up to 14", 0.5 HP DC motor and chain drive for moving taping head, variable feed speed 10 - 40 FPM, automatic tape end cut-off, taping head returns automatically to its starting position, floating pneumatic hold down bars for material clamping.
