Description Store Inventory 1.5 Million Topps Baseball Cards Graded NM to MINT in Numerical Order

You are purchasing the following assets of a baseball card store.

MLB Baseball Complete Team Sets

Currently 136 complete Topps Team Sets across all Major League Baseball Teams comprised of 147,574 cards including the base, traded, debut and update sets for each year. Cards from 1977 to 2015 are graded Near Mint or better (1977 to 1980) and Near Mint-Mint or better (1981 to 2015). Most cards far exceed those grades. All cards boxed by team, sleeved and in numerical order with year dividers.

MLB Baseball Partially Complete Team Sets

Currently 174 partially complete Topps Team Sets across all Major League Baseball Teams except Yankees and Dodgers comprised of 202,892 cards including the base, traded, debut and update sets for each year. In order to complete these sets, there are a total of 466 cards that need to be ordered. Most of the cards to be ordered are multi-player commons. Cards from 1977 to 2015 are graded Near Mint or better (1977 to 1980) and Near Mint-Mint or better (1981 to 2015). Most cards far exceed those grades. All cards boxed by team, sleeved and in numerical order with year dividers and placeholder cards for any card missing in a set.

Baseball Card Inventory

An organized collection of up to 11 copies of most Topps baseball cards from 1977 to 2015 including the base, traded, debut and update sets. This is a total of 356,890 cards. These cards are substantially complete and are missing perhaps five to six percent of what is needed to pull 310 complete team sets of all teams. Most of the missing cards are multi-player cards (many of them commons) and the more expensive star cards which I have traditionally ordered as needed. All cards are graded Near Mint or better (1977 to 1980) and Near Mint-Mint or better (1981 to 2015), sleeved and in chronological and numerical order with card number dividers ready to be assembled into team sets.

Baseball Card Overstock

Overstock for filling up the prep area for the next pull of ten team sets for each team. Additional copies of baseball cards from 1977 to 2015. Once the next set of ten are pulled, these are the cards that are used to recharge the prep boxes for the subsequent pull. They total somewhere between 500,000 and 750,000 cards, most in chronological and numerical order and sleeved. There is a full range of years represented from 1977 to 2015 on a bell curve reflecting the general distribution of Topps cards circulating. All cards are graded Near Mint or better (1977 to 1980) and Near Mint-Mint or better (1981 to 2015), sleeved and in numerical order with card number dividers.

Partially Processed Overstock

Stock which is in a partial process stage to one extent or another. All have been divided up at least by year and series, with many of them divided at least by tens. Includes a lot of factory sets that are yet to be graded and sleeved. All of the lesser grade cards have been removed in the first pass of the process. I would estimate that there are perhaps 100,000 of these cards yet to be graded and sleeved.

Special Overstock

Special overstock totaling approximately 60,000 cards as follows:

a. Lot of 1977 cards we have rejected. All have been graded to at least VG+ with the bulk of them at EX to EX+. These cards are generally rejected due to centering or slight corner damage issues. They are currently offered on eBay and total 6,238 cards. They are not sleeved, but they are in numerical order.

b. A similar set of 1978 cards totaling approximately 10,000 cards. All have been graded to at least VG+ with the bulk of them at EX to EX+. These cards are generally rejected due to centering issues. They are verified by condition, but not yet listed. They are not sleeved, but they are in numerical order.

c. A similar set of 1979 cards totaling approximately 13,000 cards. All have been graded to at least VG+ with the bulk of them at EX to EX+. These cards are generally rejected due to centering issues. They are verified by condition, but not yet listed. They are not sleeved, but they are in numerical order.

d. Overstock of 2002 Topps Traded short prints. They are currently offered on eBay and total 1,359 cards. These are all grade at NM/MT or better, sleeved, and in numerical order.

e. Approximately 550 individual cards covering autographs, relics, numbered parallels and assorted high-end goodies currently listed on eBay.

f. Perhaps 100 annual sets from non-Topps manufacturers in various stages of completion. Most of these are missing only a handful of cards. All are graded to at least NM/MT or better, sleeved, and in numerical order. This was part of my private collection that was assembled over the years as we obtained non-Topps cards in the bulk purchases we made.
